I’m with CoCo
Thought I would just vent a bit. Even if you’re not a Conan fan you have to admit this is messed up! The guy pays his dues for years, they tell him in 5 years you’re getting the Tonight Show. That time finally comes and months later they take it away cause the old host can’t get the ratings at his new time! And your ratings struggle cause LENO is your lead in. NBC… I like your programming. Big fan of 30 Rock, The Office and Community, but you’ve messed up. I know your mind is made up, but so is mine… I’m with COCO. And I’m following him to whatever station (FOX) He ends up at.
I know it’s stupid for me to get upset over a stupid show, but it’s just they way it’s going down gets under my skin. The only cool thing is I got to go to the show about 3 weeks ago. that’s when all the rumors were going around. Doesn’t matter in the long run. Conan got paid and he came out the hero.
YOU THE MAN COCO!
And PS to Jay Leno… Own Up!

I’m with Coco too. They did him wrong. I’m a huge Conan fan, and got to see him a few months ago when Bon Jovi was his guest. I hate the way things went down, but I’m looking forward to his new spot, wherever that might be.

It wasn’t that Jay Leno COULDN’T get the ratings, it was more of the time it was at for the type of show it was. Leno was number 1 for 12 years, so it’s pretty evident it was not his fault for the ratings.
I do feel bad for Conan though, NBC execs have really strange ways of doing things. It seems as if they don’t think things through.
