I know I’ve been on an “Amusement Park Ride” kick lately but that’s cause there is a lot going on.
Check out the pic of the construction for the new CARS ride being built in the new CARS land! Also a pic of the Hollywood trolley track and the Little Mermaid ride.
Pretty cool actually.

How long could you go under radio silence? No trasmissions of any kind. Taking a digital vow of silence?
I comunicate through technology, so for me, this would be tough. “Hot Tub Time Machine’s” trailer shows a young man who’s traveled back in time, asking a girl from 1986 if he can have her e-mail address or cell number to which she replies with confusion… he then asks “how do I get in touch with you?” she replies “Come find me”. he says “that sounds exhuasting”.
We rely on digital communication so much that we forget what life was like before. Hard. I mean literally every Sienfield episoide would have no plot if they had the Internet or cell phones or social networking! I can’t imagine life without technology!
So yes, I would hate radio silence.
just sayin’
How ’bout you?

Since the iconic Universal tram attraction (KING KONG) burned to the ground in 2008 it’s left a void in the back lot experience. Well, Kong is making a big come back at Universal Studios Hollywood this Summer. The interactive attraction will feature the fight between Kong and the T-Rex from the 2005 movie. Universal and Peter Jackson announced the new 3D King Kong attraction in January of this year. It will debut in Hollywood this summer. Here’s the teaser trailer…
I hear that the smell of his breath will still be part of the ride.

I recently tweeted that “If I were Joker I’d do crime during the day so that commissioner Gordan couldn’t use the Bat Signal”. To which one of my friends (Josiah Guile) replied yeah but what about the Bat phone. So I thought, okay so I’d have to cut the phone lines as well. What are some other things we could do to out smart the Dark Knight.
1. Parade a girl he’s never met before in front of him. (He has a new girl in every movie)
2. Destroy all car companies except Toyota, so that the newest version of Bat-mobile will not stop in traffic.
3. Convince Tiger Wood’s wife that Tiger is Batman, then arm her with Golf clubs.
4. Give Batman “The Tonight Show” then take it away.
5. Give Batman “Obama-Care”
6. Rig the “Hero Awards Ceremony” so that Batman wins, then pay Kayne to jump on Stage and Proclaim that Superman is the best.
7. Alert tweens that Batman will be in the next Twilight. (Those Fans are Crazy)
8. Schedule your crime on the same night as “LOST THE FINAL SEASON”.
9. Trick Alfred into thinking that Betty White is into him, so he loses all focus in helping Batman.
10. Tell one of Batman’s girls about all the others.
Yours truly,
Terry V. Skiles (AKA - IF I WERE JOKER)

The Video Rental Store’s last stand is happening right now. With the rise of online and vending rentals the stores are dying FAST. Hollywood Video stores are just about gone and Blockbuster has closed about 1,300 stores and wants to shut hundreds more. They’ve tried a formats similar to netflix in recent years, but it appears that it’s too late to turn the ship to avoid the iceberg.
The only demographic that was keeping Blockbuster in business was the older generation who were afraid of using credit cards online… Well then came Red Box. A vending machine that’s picking up steam real quick due to it’s street corner convenience. So those that rent from store may find themselves watching the news on a Friday night if they don’t make the switch to this new form of media share.
When you rent, what do you use?
