So I had another run in with our local Del Taco.  You can read my first nightmare here.

Tonight I went to get some food for our visiting in-laws as well as Ky & I.  They don’t have Del Taco where they’re from so it’s “a must” when they come to visit W-coast.

So we picked up some food and were on our way when I realized they didn’t give me my $8 in change they owed me.  So I dropped off Ky and the food and went back.  When I returned to the restaurant, THEY WEREN’T GOING TO GIVE IT TO ME!  I think they thought I was just going to walk a way or maybe they just didn’t believe me.  So I made them count all their registers, this didn’t make them too happy…  But it made me happy when they realized that I was right.  They had egg on their faces and knew it so they threw more VIP coupons my way.  If this keeps up I’ll own Del Taco by the year 2020!

Well not right in my neighborhood but just down the street.  The other day Ky and I were driving home from one of our many adventures when we found ourselves stopped at a red light near our home.  We both looked to our right and sure enough there was a Buffalo, that’s right (Tatonka)!!!  I knew that San Jacinto had some farm animals but BUFFALO?  What surprised me more is the only thing separating us from this monster was a flimsy old chain link fense.  My dog could’ve knocked down this fense.  What’s wierd is we’ve lived here for over a year and have never seen anything like this…  Next time I’ll take a picture with the buffalo (From a distance of coarse)  This thing was HUGE!

So tonight I watched Jay Leno’s last show.  It was about what I thought it would be, Jay looked back over the last 17 years focusing on the best of the greatest segments.  They properly introduced Conan as the new host & Jay had a good heart felt moment at the end of the show where he was talking about the legacy that he’s leaving behind.  He then brought out the crew’s children that had been born over the last 17 years and said this is our Legacy.  Jay only got choked up when he was talking about his wife.  What’s weird is he’s really not leaving…  He’s just moving to 10PM.  This fall I’m hoping that it’s something different and not just “The Tonight Show at 10″…

I’m ready for Conan.  I like Jay but Conan is a little more for my age group.  Let’s not forget that opposite Conan the very funny David Letterman is still rocking.  We’ll see if “The Tonight Show” hangs in as #1…

Today was a busy day… We took a truck load of stuff up to the camp-ground… Let me just say that it’s looking very good! Can’t wait for everyone to see the progress! I’ve got pics but you’re not seeing them!

After, we continued on to Bakersfield to speak @ engraved youth. Great group of students! We love the Youth Pastors & Pastors at Living Waters!

We’re on our way home right now, the GPS says we’ll be home @ 1:00 am… Can’t wait to sleep!

Actually I think I know what’s going on here.  It looks like they have a number laying down on the ground.  I think they had one made up that has a 0 Off and in stead of making many LARGE banners they just made numbers to change out.  Still funny though…

Or they just don’t know what they’re doing.

The Little Mermaid ride was supposed to be built ages ago.  But for whatever reason Disney tabled the project.  Since then they’ve decided to green light the project and it’s being built right now…  I Found this on-line today and thought I would share.  Looks like the Story Board for the Little Mermaid Ride that was supposed to be built…  Not sure if it’s the same concept that’s being created at Disney’s CA Adventure or not.  Still cool none the less…

Angels take series from Dodgers…

I will admit that this has been the first time in A LONG TIME… That the Dodger’s have made me nervous…  They’re no joke this year, so I was thrilled to get out of  Shot-man’s Ravine with 2 wins!  We almost had a sweep, we had blue on the ropes in the middle game, just couldn’t get the KO blow.  We get Vlad Back soon…  Hope he brings the thunder…  We’re in pretty good shape right now sitting just a couple of games from 1st with momentum! 

LIGHT UP THE HALO!!!

You don’t see a lot of Bob’s Big Boy’s any more.  Seems like they were everywhere in the 80′s and then just disappeared.  So before the concert Jason, Katie, Kylie and I decided to have an old fashion cheese burger.  Wasn’t the best I’ve experienced, but hit the spot.  Same thing with the concert.  I think being so far away and the fact that there was a REAL old couple in front of us re-living there teenage make out days like a foot away might have put a damper on the evening.  Fleetwood did ROCK it out, including a 7 min. guitar solo that is still blowing my mind…   I thought Mr. Fleetwood on the drums might need Oxygen at one point… Fun Night.

Today I did something I need to do more of…  Nothing.  I just had a great day with my family here at home.

Everyone needs one…  One of those days where you don’t even go outside.  Just stay in and watch movies.  Today I watched Australiaand Changeling both really good movies.  LONG, but good.  I did a few small projects around the house but nothing too heavy.  I think that we sometimes don’t allow ourselves to do nothing.  When we have a day off we do work around the house or we do something that isn’t restful to the body.  I get made fun of because I tell people I’m like an old man when it comes to days off.  I draw the drapes and yell at kids to get off my lawn…
