I’m sitting under a shade tree at our kids camp writing this blog.  Last night my heart was broken in a good way.  You usually don’t have a kids service like we did last night.  I have to say the Kids Quest crew is doing an amazing job of listening to God.  Saturday Night God showed up in a big way.  I couldn’t believe the way God touched us all.  Kids realizing how special they are to God.  Their reaction to God is what broke my heart.  It was real, authentic and refreshing.  Last night I believe was a life changing moment for me.

We had a great Sr. High Camp!  I’ll never forget it as long as I live!  Such a great spirit through the whole camp.  It was VERY CROWDED!  We were JAMMED in the Chapel.  That’s a good problem though.  The chairs went all the way to the back walls!  We were at standing room.  We’re in Kids Camp right now.  But I wanted to post some pictures of what went on last camp.

Well today we’re taking off to camp!  WE’RE READY TO GET UP THERE!  It’s time to get in the mix.  We hope you’ll be there too.  It’s If you still want to come, you can make it happen!  Show up with your application and walk up fee.  Trust me it’s going to be worth it!

As we finish the final touches on camp pre production, I look back on my life and get a great feeling inside because I’m going back to the start.  This camp is where I felt the call to ministry over 10 years ago and now my wife and I get to have a hand in IMPACTING students today!  We’re doing our absolute best and thank everyone for there prayers.  KEEP PRAYING!  God is going to show up, I just know it!

Awesome Concert!!!  Ky and I had a blast.  A ton of people have been asking for me to throw some picture up, so here they are.  A couple of things, this was their 1st concert of the tour.  They brought their A game.  Look for the picture where they came up in the crowd!!!  LEAVE YOUR THOUGHTS…

Today we have a ton of work to do.  Not anything big on our Camp list, just some detail stuff that takes time.  Camp is days away and we’re ready to dive in!  We can’t wait to see you all there. 

Then tonight we’re going to see coldplay in LA.  It’s the Viva la Vida tour.  I’ve never seen them in concert but LOVE their music.  Can’t wait rock out!  We’ll take pictures.

Our Dog Lucy (goose) Has been sick the last couple of days.  It seems like it’s her stomach.  This evening though, an outstanding turn around.  She’s up and acting like nothing is wrong.  Her and Mandy are playing/fighting and getting in to trouble.  My mom used to say that that’s when she knew I or Sheena was better too!  Anyways I also went to a Target leadership conference this morning.  Got to see some old friends and spend time with some of the Pastors in our district.

So today has been a LONG day.  J and I waited and waited for an iPhone 3g…  They came down to the last 16 gig and J and I were the next two people in line.  They had one phone and two of us.  Well I wanted a white one and this last one was black.  Even though I waited in line forever, I feel like if I’m going to get something so expensive, it needs to be exactly what I want.  Well he wanted a white one too, so we both just checked out.  the guy behind us was WAY EXCITED.  The picture is funny because we had been there FOREVER waiting.  Jason for unknown reasons had a Zohan movie displayer in his truck.  I thought it would be funny for him to wait in line with us.  It was.  Had a blast aside from not getting the phone.  It’s okay I’ll get it soon.

In the morning I’m going to throw away my old phone and pick up a white iPhone 3g.  My old phone has been in some wars.  It’s really beat up and just a horrible phone.  I’m going to make a video of me destroying my old phone, because it has been a pain in my side, along with Sprint, who I’m also very glad to say goodbye to.  When you see my old beat up phone you will know the pain that I’ve been going through.  And if you’ve ever talked to me on the phone chances are I’ve dropped your call.  Well not anymore, in the morning it’s happening.  And it will be better than the movie the happening, for sure…  (haven’t seen it yet, I just hear horrible things about it.) 

So when I call people on Sat.  It’ll be on the new phone.
