We just celebrated Earth day last week and I caught this program on how we can do little things to change the world around us. Now I’m not a tree hugger nor do I worship creation, but I believe in taking care of our planet. This show was all about changing the physical state of our world; but I began to think of the spiritual state of our world and how it needs to change!
Matthew 5:8 talks about seeing God (Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.) I want to see God in the world around us! That same scripture in the message says: “You’re blessed when you get your inside world – your mind and heart – put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.” We can see God move in the world around us when we are following Him with our hearts. That’s when we can be used to change our world for God’s Kingdom-

After leading worship for 10 years at Spiritlife, today is Kylie and I’s last day. We will miss attending SL every week. It’s where I learned to be me. Thank you to a band that ALWAYS MADE ME LOOK GOOD. Thank you to my church Family who always supported us even when we were doing crazy things. Thank you to my Mom & Dad for not letting me give up. Thank you to my Sister who always held down the beat. Thank You God for the opportunity.
Much Love SL,
T.V.

Kylie did great speaking at LIFT! She spoke on the Biggest Loser. It was about realizing that we are masterpieces in God, and even though we weigh ourselves down with the things of this world, God makes a way for us to lose all that weight and be restored to what He’s called us to be…

So Jason, Rocky and I went to a Women’s Conference. You heard me right. But we were there to set up and help out with the worship. We only stayed for the Worship of each service, then took off. We didn’t have a lot to do so we took pictures of Jason’s sleep habits… It’s not really his gear but the pictures look great!!! Oh I also snapped a shot of Rocky 2 min. after waking up. Thanks guys for making this weekend fun.

I’ll be leaving in the morning to support my wife at the LIFT conference. She’s speaking and leading some worship! She’s going to do great! I’m also going to back her up by hopping behind the kit and beating some skins. It’s going to be a ton of fun! “J” is playing bass so we should have a tight trio of music-

Tonight is my last official night at Flipside. I’m sad to say farewell, but excited for what God is going to do with this youth group. To Flipside: You guys are capable of anything as long as God is the center of your life. I can’t wait to see how far God takes you guys!
Much Love!

About a month ago the family that lives in the house behind us got a BIG dog. Mandy is our little Jack Russel and she doesn’t fear other dogs at all. So when she goes out they bark at each other and run the fence line, normal dog stuff. Recently they’ve been getting a look at each other at this one spot under the fence. Well Mandy got to close and the Big dog got a hold of Mandy’s nose. When she came in I thought it was dirt all over her nose but it was blood. So I cleaned her up and she now sits in quarantined with a bandage on her nose. Don’t worry though, it’s not that bad she should be just fine.
Oh and I am going to talk to my neighbor to see if we cant fix the problem.

Today is my dad’s birthday. I don’t know many men as awesome as my dad, he’s truly the BEST! I owe a lot of who I am due to the way I was raised. I grew up with a Pastor/Dad. He never blurred those lines. He knew when to be Pastor and when to be a father. Thanks for that Dad. He still Pastors today and rocks harder than the average 18 year old on the guitar. He’s the greatest and I hope he has the best Birthday! I LOVE YA POP!!!

Okay I’m new to this whole blogging thing, but here it goes.
I visited Fusion Youth Group in Banning CA last night. It was a lot of fun. This is part of my new job to go around and visit/minister at churches and youth groups. We almost ran out of gas on the way there but found out that it’s only like 15 to 20 min. away. We had a great time!
I’m going to be returning to Fusion on May 4th to speak.
